Packing Planning and Preparing For Take Off

The sand is rapidly slipping through the hour glass. Less 48 hours from now I will be on my way to Romania. These last 8 weeks have flown by and I have seen God work in ways that I could never have imagined. Thank you for the countless ways that you have supported this endeavor! I am humbled by your faith and generosity.

This week has flown by and has been a bit of a struggle for me. I have been tying up loose ends while physically under the weather. All of my planning (with the exception of my Sunday school lesson) is complete. All three of my suitcases are packed and ready to role. I am sure all of them weigh more than 50 pounds. What can I say, you are so generous!

I did my best to pack as many of your supplies in my suitcases as possible. What I could not fit in my bags has been packed up in 3 boxes. Two of these boxes I haves sent to a friend who is headed over at a later date. One very large box will be shipped by container within the next month or two. Here is the evidence of your overwhelming generosity.

I will spend much of tomorrow cleaning and resting. I will be leaving shortly after 8:00 CST on Sunday morning. Your prayers are needed and very much appreciated. I am traveling by myself.

I will be leaving from O’Hare at 4:30 Pm and flying to Vienna. I will land in Vienna at 2:10 AM CST with a 4-hour overlay. I will land in Timisoara, Romania at 7:35 Am CST Monday morning. (It will be 3:35 PM in Romania.)
