You Never Let Go

I don’t know about you, but it seems to me that time is moving more quickly with each passing week. Every week I think, "maybe this week I’ll have time to blog abut all that this past summer held for me." Before I know it though, the week has come to a close and there my blog sits still waiting to be updated. One of these days I will fill you in on all that I have deprived you of. It probably wont be until I return home, and fill you in on all of my Romania recollections, but it will happen. Maybe I’ll wait until my teeth are chattering with the bitter chill of winter so I can warm us all, in thought anyway. : )

Yes, this has been another busy weeks of preparing for Romania, (for the latest on that click here) but it is Saturday and I did not want to pass up the chance to share with you some of what my soul has been sustained with through song this week.

As many of you know, I have been dealing with severe headaches and a great deal of pain for quite a few months now. As of yet I have not been able to find a significant source of relief. This week has been one of the more challenging weeks for me. I have been lacking both in strength and determination. Some days it’s just hard to keep a smile.

I am not sure how I am going to fare in Romania. To be quite honest, my heart is there, and on the one hand I am more than ready to go, but on the other hand I am apprehensive wondering just how all of this is going to come together physically speaking.

I have taken comfort in the fact that no matter how I feel, or what I may be experiencing on any given day, God love never ends. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He will never let go of me. The same is true for you.

Here is Matt Redman's You Never Let go.

Speaking of suffering, there is nothing more difficult for me then to watch a child suffer. One of the reasons I love this Saturday meam is not only because of my love for music, and the impact that it has on my life, but also because it reminds me to pray for the Wyatt's. The measure of faith that this family has been given is amazing, and the strength that little Spence displays is of immeasurable inspiration to me. Please keep them in your prayers.

May God Bless you All,

I'm so glad He will never let go even when I am wallowing in the mud. I'll be praying for your upcoming trip - for your safety and for every little detail to work out and for your health. Thank you too for the prayers you have lifted up for my family and for Spencer. We didn't have any seizures this past week for the first time in a LONG time. The increase in meds probably helped, but I KNOW the prayers did. Thanks again.

Great song thanks for reminding us that he doesn't let go. Even in the storm. Even when it appears he is silent. He is there.
Thanks for reminding us to pray for the Amy and her family too.
Have a Blessed Day.
